The Foyer Foundation convenes and facilitates a national Community of Practice, bringing together Accredited and Accrediting Youth Foyers from across the country to share, learn and constantly improve outcomes for young people.

What is the Community of Practice?

Accredited Youth Foyers are connected through a national Community of Practice (CoP) that fosters collaboration, knowledge sharing, peer support and access to exclusive opportunities for young people. This includes:

  • Sharing and documenting emerging themes and commonalities in research;
  • Elevating key practice developments;
  • Developing advocacy strategy; and
  • Providing rigour behind the campaign for the expansion and further development of the Youth Foyer approach nationally.

Members of the Community of Practice have access to:

  • The National Outcomes Framework Dashboard;
  • Youth Foyer Learning Hub digital platform;
  • 1:1 advice and training; and
  • Micro-grants to support young people towards independence.

The Foyer Foundation also facilitates three national CoP sessions per year, including one in person workshop where Foyers come together to share insights, challenges and successes.
