Welcome Foyer Central!
Opening in February 2021, a newly constructed campus comprising 53 studio apartments located in Chippendale.
More than just student accommodation, Foyer Central will be built on a foundation of diversity and learning cultivated by the community of motivated young people who will live there.
Foyer Central is a collaboration between partner organisations that share a vision and commitment to providing young people a safe and supported community to live and learn in as they transition to independent living.
Foyer Central follows the Foyer model – an established framework around the world. It adopts the Advantage Thinking Framework which focuses on the strengths, resources and assets we possess as individuals, rather than labels that focus on disadvantage.
This the first purpose-built Foyer in NSW, and the first in the world funded by a social benefit bond.
