Foyers are committed to building a bank of evidence to continually demonstrate how our work will help change the trajectory of youth homelessness, education and employment outcomes and provide benefits to young people.
The snapshot also aims to raise awareness and create discussion about the Foyer Model, whilst we move towards a robust impact framework that can demonstrate the outcomes the Foyer Network are achieving.
This annual snapshot will give you an insight into the young people who reside in Foyers, how they found Foyer, average age, stay and other key data such as:
- 526 young people supported during 2020
- Approx 52% of our young people come from family violence or breakdowns
We believe Foyers can help young people avoid homelessness, improve mental health, enjoy re-connection with community and family, be engaged in work or study and have a safe, stable home style environment.
