The Foyer Foundation operates the Foyer Independence Fund, providing small grants of up to $1,000 to support young people living in Accredited Youth Foyers across Australia in their journey towards independence.
These grants help young people purchase essential items that support their education, access education and work, gain employment, enhance wellbeing, or transition to independent living.
The Independence Fund was first established by the Foyer Foundation and AFG as our Principal Partner. We welcomed People’s Bank as a sponsor in 2025, and are actively seeking additional sponsors so that more young people can directly benefit.
