Conceptualised by former Gold Coast Foyer Resident, Tarik, DISRUPT was designed to disrupt the narrative around youth homelessness.
Hosted in partnership with Yfoundations at Machine Hall, Sydney – the inaugural event in 2025 exhibited more than 100 artworks by young artists with experience of homelessness. Every young person was paid for their engagement and offered support and development opportunities.
This event was generously sponsored by Canva, with Canva volunteers transforming Foyer Warrnambool resident, Sienna’s artwork into an interactive audience activity designed to inspire action.
