There are 27 Youth Foyers in Australia (16 existing Accredited Youth Foyers, and 11 under construction). Despite having concerning numbers of youth homelessness in local communities, South Australia (SA) has just one Youth Foyer in Port Adelaide. This pre-budget submission to the SA State Government outlines the need for five more Foyers in SA to unlock positive housing, employment and education outcomes for more than 1500 young people, including up to 500 First Nations young people, over the next decade.
