Foyer Foundation are very proud of Shepparton Youth Foyer student Jannat, who is on her way to moving out of the youth foyer to pursue her dreams, as showcased by Berry Street this month.
Jannat first moved to the Shepparton Youth Foyer when she was 18, still in high school and was at risk of homelessness. After a tour of the space and meeting the staff, she took the next steps to move in.
Although faced with challenges around coronavirus, such as trying to get her driver licence in a time when all driving lessons were cancelled, Jannat has overcome these hurdles and is on her way to becoming a paramedic.
